Our Team

Dr. Veronica Kiely

Dr. Kiely is our head veterinarian and our practice owner. She grew up in the Bayshore region of New Jersey. She always had a passion for animals and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in Small Animal Science, Summa Cum Laude, from Delaware Valley College (DelVal) in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. DelVal has a large, fully functioning farm, which Dr. Kiely was able to immerse herself in, which solidified her decision to pursue a doctorate in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Kiely went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University. She was inducted into the National Veterinary Honor Society, Phi Zeta, in her junior year and was also the recipient of several scholarships throughout her years of veterinary school. Dr. Kiely practiced in Northern Virginia for a short time before moving to Maryland. She is a resident of Anne Arundel County and loves how similar the area is to where she grew up in New Jersey.

Dr. Kiely has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, geriatric medicine, and collaborating on cases with her colleagues. In her spare time, Dr. Kiely loves to cook new and exciting dishes, go on long bike rides, be out on the water, and travel when she can.

Dr. Tenley Diaz

Dr. Tenley Diaz graduated from St George’s University in Grenada and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She has special interests in dentistry and end-of-life care. Dr. Diaz lives with her rescued dogs Charlie and Bruce, a delinquent cat named Newt, and multiple little critters in her home outside of Baltimore.
